ప్రేమ కథ
LOVE STORY
The Journey of Love “Classic love” refers to traditional notions of love. It usually reflects commitment, sacrifice, permanence, and heartfelt emotion. Some notable examples:
Love stories often end at the doorstep of marriage.
Caste, religion, and social status stand as walls in between.
But that feeling, that experience,
works like nuclear fuel for the chariot of life,
a sublime force that drives it forward.
If love exists, we can believe.
But if love is absent, the emptiness is hard to trust.
1. Ram-Sita Love – A symbol of selfless, devoted, and dharma-based love.
2. Krishna-Radha Love – A symbol of devotion and spiritual love.
3. Laila-Majnu – A tale of lovers who sacrificed their lives for intense love.
4. Romeo & Juliet – A symbol of sacrifice for love.
5. Devdas-Parvati – A sorrowful story filled with pain and emotional longing.
As soon as her gentle smile bloomed,
The stars sparkled in the blue sky, Even the koel cleared its throat to greet her,
Nature itself blushed in delight,
The clouds roared,
lightning joined in,
A boundless energy stirred within me.

It was July 1975. I was 14 years old, studying in 9th class. After school ended that day, I started walking home. A young boy from 6th class appeared in front of me and began talking about his classmate. “We usually go home together—me and my girlfriend. But she didn’t come today,” he said. “Is that so?” I replied. We chatted as we walked nearly three kilometers, then went our separate ways. The day ended like that. ---

Meeting Jhansi on the Way
The next day after school, I again took the walking path home. The same boy appeared again—but this time, he was with a girl. “This is Jhansi. My classmate, 6th class,” he introduced her. Jhansi seemed a bit shy and looked down while glancing at me. I smiled and said, “Hi.” That day ended with the three of us walking and chatting our way to our respective destinations.
From then on, it was mostly just Jhansi and I walking home together.

Waiting for bus
On the Bus
(Sometimes we took the bus too – 15 paise ticket) Days passed joyfully. Coming to school together, going home together—it became our daily routine. Our bond gradually strengthened.

One day, after school, Jhansi and I were riding the bus home. She was already seated and pointed to the seat beside her, saying, “Sit here.” Her words felt like music to my ears. I sat next to her. Our hands brushed slightly. In that moment, I felt joy and peace—my heart overflowed with love. That bus ride became an unforgettable memory in my life. Our bond continued like an innocent, sweet tale. ---

Waiting for the Bus Seasons changed. Spring wrapped us in floral fragrances, the rainy season soaked our hearts with drizzles, winter added new feelings with its chilly breeze, and summer deepened our bond under warm evening skies. Even in sleep, memories of time spent with her stirred my dreams. But morning came—like the sun rushing from its chariot in the sky—and woke me up. Her memories echoed in my mind, touching my soul. I longed to meet Jhansi again at school. Her image shimmered in the light as I stepped into each day with the feeling that she was walking beside me. A year passed quickly. Our daily walks, sweet conversations, and growing intimacy made it impossible to imagine days without her. One day, school announced holidays. Sadness settled over me like a heavy cloud. But that sorrow only drew my heart closer to her. I began to wait eagerly for the day we’d meet again. That memory became a major turning point in my life.

In June 1976, I went to school with my mother. It was decided I would move to Eluru to study 10th class because of my father's job. Leaving behind Jhansi and the school where I studied 8th and 9th was very difficult. Jhansi came with her friends to bid farewell to me. But my journey moved forward. 1976—Goodbye. ---

Summer Meetings and Cousin’s House 1976-1977: 10th class in Eluru.
1977 Summer: I got to meet Jhansi just once.
1977-1978: 1st Inter at Bander Noble College. Again, I met Jhansi just once during summer vacation.
1978-1979: 2nd Inter. In 1979, I was studying 2nd year Intermediate in Bander. Jhansi was in 9th class, studying at Netaji Tutorials. Though our places of study were different, our hearts were still one. A silent journey of three years… Then came 1979: A chance to reconnect with Jhansi. I was 18, she was 14. We unexpectedly met near the school. Due to the passing of my elder uncle, Jhansi expressed a wish to go visit our cousin Lakshmi’s house and asked me to join. Lakshmi was her junior and friend. The three of us—Jhansi, me, and her friend—walked two kilometers to Lakshmi’s house. Talking with Jhansi again after years felt like a fresh experience. We walked back to school afterward. Those three hours I spent with her became deeply special to me. The conversations, the emotions we shared—they etched a permanent memory in my heart. ---
