Mahatma Gandhi, born as Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, was one of the greatest leaders of India’s freedom movement.
మోహన్దాస్ కరంచంద్ గాంధీగా జన్మించిన మహాత్మా గాంధీ భారత స్వాతంత్ర్య ఉద్యమంలో గొప్ప నాయకులలో ఒకరు.
He was born on 2 October 1869 in Porbandar, Gujarat. Gandhi is popularly known as the Father of the Nation and lovingly called Bapu.
ఆయన 1869 అక్టోబర్ 2న గుజరాత్లోని పోర్బందర్లో జన్మించారు. గాంధీజీని జాతిపితగా గౌరవిస్తారు. ప్రజలు ప్రేమతో ఆయనను బాపూజీ అని పిలుస్తారు.

Gandhi studied law in London and later worked in South Africa. There, he faced racial discrimination which inspired him to fight for justice through truth and non-violence.
